Most of the children whom you see on this page are not alive any more. They died because of the sanctions which prevented the import of lifesafing medical devices, they died because waging wars was more important for the former Iraqi regime than treatment of children who were suffering from cancer. They died because war was waged against their country. They died during we were fighting for import licenses. They died because they were prevented from treatment, they died because they were not allowed to leave the country. We have seen their misery and we fought for them and we will continue to fight that in the future never again sick children will be te victims of politics.
